Leica DM2000 & DM2000 LED

Leica DM2000 microscopes are ideal for complex tasks in pathology, cytology, and other applications. They come with a sophisticated modular design and high-performance fluorescence. The microscope is also certified for in-vitro-diagnostics (IVD) such as in-vitro-fertilization (IVF).

The Leica DM2000 microscope can be customized with various optics and contrast techniques to meet specific application needs. Two versions of Leica DM2000 are available: one with bright halogen illumination and the other with long-life LED.

DM2000 Key Features

When it comes to controlling contrast, the Leica microscope with plate number DM2000 takes the lead. As a genuine system microscope, it offers a range of ergonomic accessories, such as tilting tubes and ergonomic modules, to cater to the specific physical needs of the user. Additionally, its patented height-adjustable focus knobs allow for customization based on the user’s hand size and posture, making it a uniquely tailored instrument.

Leica Microsystems’ unique Zero Pixel Shift Technology filter cubes ensure reliable results with the five-position fluorescence axis for high-performance fluorescence.

Leica DM2000 LED delivers bright, daylight-like illumination with low power consumption. It features a long-life LED that eliminates the need for bulb exchange while providing proper lighting for the specimen.

Looking for a quick and effortless way to exchange lamps? Look no further than Leica’s Lamp Exchange solution, featuring the DM2000 model with bright 30W halogen illumination that provides a homogeneously illuminated field of view. Additionally, Koehler illumination comes standard for optimized illumination in terms of contrast and resolution. Thanks to Leica Microsystems’ special drawer technology, the downtime during lamp exchange is reduced to a minimum, making the process fast and easy.

Stage control and focus knobs are aligned for improved comfort during prolonged microscope use.

The Leica DM2000 microscopes come with a 7-fold nosepiece, allowing users to select from a range of seven objectives to configure the microscope to their specific requirements.
