##### **ABOUT PREGIUS GLOBAL SHUTTER CMOS CAMERA TECHNOLOGY**

Sony has recently launched its latest Pregius global shutter CMOS sensors that offer the best of both worlds - CCD and CMOS. These sensors have an analog pixel design similar to a CCD but with the back end resembling a CMOS sensor. This unique architecture combines the advantages of a CCD sensor such as excellent imaging performance, good colour reproduction, low noise, and high dynamic range, with the digital benefits of a CMOS sensor like built-in analog-to-digital conversion, image correction, digital output, and high speed. As a result, these sensors are a low-power, cost-effective alternative to traditional CCD sensors.

##### **PLUG-AND-PLAY WITH NO FRAME GRABBER**

This camera has a compact and robust design, measuring 44 x 44 x 61 mm, which makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces and systems. The camera uses a locking USB 3.1 Gen 1 cabling interface that ensures the delivery of data and power. This feature also allows for a simple plug-and-play installation with distances of up to 100m between cameras and a processing system. An expensive framegrabber is not required, and the camera is USB3 Vision compliant.
