Static or Bogie Chamber Furnace - SBCF

Static or Bogie Chamber Furnace – SBCF

The SBCF chamber furnace is an industrial scale furnace based on a modular design principle which can be adapted to various applications. The furnace chamber is cubic in shape and is available in three sizes.
Modified Atmosphere Chamber Furnace GPCMA

Modified Atmosphere Chamber Furnace GPCMA

The GPCMA modified atmosphere chamber furnaces are equipped with a metallic retort to provide a heated volume with a controlled atmosphere. They are floor-standing models with a smooth action hinged door arrangement.
General Purpose Industrial Chamber Furnace GPC

General Purpose Industrial Chamber Furnace - GPC

The GPC general purpose chamber furnaces are large floor-standing models. Available at 1200 °C and 1300 °C with capacities ranging from 131 to 400 litres.
Large Industrial Chamber Furnace LCF

Large Industrial Chamber Furnace - LCF

The robust construction of LCF industrial chamber furnaces makes them ideal for applications such as the heat treatment of steels and alloy, ceramics sintering and aerospace heat treatment.
High Temperature Chamber Furnace - HTF

High Temperature Chamber Furnace up to 1800°C - HTF

The HTF industrial furnace range has maximum operating temperatures of 1600 °C, 1700 °C, or 1800 °C. All models are heated by molybdenum disilicide elements.
Top Hat Furnace - HB

Top Hat Furnace - HB

The HB furnace range has an automatically operated vertically moving hood for heat treatment in air as standard option. This design allows samples to be accessed from three sides. The HB can be equipped with CrFeAl heating wires up 1300 °C or with MoSi2 heating elements for temperatures up to 1800 °C.

INDUSTRIAL FURNACES - FAQ

WHAT IS AN INDUSTRIAL FURNACE?

An industrial furnace is a heating device that meets the precise temperature control and temperature uniformity requirements of industrial processes. They provide the heat required for industrial processes and can either run in air or with a controlled atmosphere. They are constructed to withstand a production environment, whilst still providing accurate and precise temperature control. Electrically heated industrial furnaces provide the best temperature accuracy and a cleaner working chamber compared with other fuel types.

WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF AN INDUSTRIAL FURNACE?

Industrial furnaces are available with a range of maximum temperatures. The maximum temperature is dependent on the type of heating elements used in the construction. The most common have metallic wire heating elements with a maximum temperature in the range of 1000°C to 1200°C. Higher temperatures can be achieve with different types of heating elements up to 3000°C.

WHICH TYPES OF INDUSTRIAL FURNACE EXIST?

There are many types of industrial furnaces including chamber furnaces, top hat furnaces, bogie hearth furnaces, strand annealing furnaces, elevator hearth furnaces, and modified atmosphere furnaces.

WHAT APPLICATIONS ARE INDUSTRIAL FURNACES SUITABLE FOR?

Industrial furnaces are suitable for larger scale applications including annealing, heat treatment, debinding, sintering, graphitization, quenching, siliconization, brazing, and calcination. Industrial furnaces can be manufactured to comply with the requirements of industry specific standards such as NADCAP AMS2750G and CQI-9.
