Contrasting methods
The DM IL microscope offers Integrated Modulation Contrast (IMC) from Leica, which is a unique feature that doesn’t require special objectives. This, along with Phase Contrast and Brightfield illumination, makes it a versatile tool for various magnifications, including 10x, 20x, 32x, and 40x.
Cell culture
The standard DM IL microscope boasts a long working distance, making it easy for you to keep an eye on sizable cell culture flasks. Should your cell production increase, the DM IL Cell Factory is the ideal option. Its transmitted light arm spans 480mm, allowing for the inspection of large multilayer vessels with up to 10 chambers, even in the presence of fluorescence. Your current DM IL can be upgraded later to accommodate large-scale cell production.
Live cell imaging
When observing living cells through a microscope, it is crucial to maintain optimal conditions for the organisms. Leica Microsystems provides a broad range of accessories suitable for any application, allowing easy control of environmental conditions during an experiment.

The controls of the microscope, such as the focus dial, brightness controller, condenser height adjustment, objective nosepiece, and XY stage adjustment, are ergonomically designed to provide comfort and ease of use for the user while manipulating their sample. Additionally, the microscope can adapt to different users with its height-adjustable stages and ergo tubes that offer variable height.

Fluorescence
