ABOUT PREGIUS® GLOBAL SHUTTER CMOS CAMERA TECHNOLOGY
The latest Pregius® global shutter CMOS sensors from Sony have combined the best features of both CCD and CMOS technologies in a pixel design, resulting in an impressive performance. The sensors have an analog pixel design similar to a CCD but with the back end resembling a CMOS sensor. This unique architecture offers the advantages of a CCD sensor, such as excellent imaging performance, sound colour reproduction, low noise, and high dynamic range, along with all the digital benefits of a CMOS sensor, including built-in analog-to-digital conversion, image correction, digital output, and high speed. PLUG-AND-PLAY WITH NO FRAMEGRABBER
This camera has a small and sturdy design, measuring 44 x 44 x 61 mm, that makes it easy to fit into tight spaces and systems. The USB 3.1 Gen 1 cabling interface locks securely, ensuring reliable data and power delivery. Additionally, the camera can be easily installed with plug-and-play functionality and can be placed up to 100m away from the processing system without the need for an expensive framegrabber. This camera is USB3 Vision compliant.
